David J. Fine is rabbi of Temple Israel and Jewish Community Center in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and Adjunct Professor of Jewish Law at the Zacharias Frankel and Abraham Geiger Colleges in Potsdam, Germany. He was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary and earned his Ph.D. in modern European history at the City University of New York.
